Victims of Lekki shootings appear at the Lagos Judicial panel (photos/videos)

Some of the alleged victims of the October 20 gunshot incident at the Lekki tollgate appeared before the Lagos state government judicial panel today December 4.

The said victims who appeared before the panel were 15 in number. 14 of them said they were shot at Lekki Toll Gate on the evening of October 20, while one was said to have been shot Ojodu Berger. They were led in by the EndSARS counsel, Adesina Ogunlana.

 

In their entourage was one Mr Nathaniel Solomon, who alleged his younger brother, Abouta Solomon was shot dead at the toll gate. He said Abouta has since been buried in his hometown in Mubi Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

Another woman,  Aiyedungbe Olufunmi Grace, whose brother died at LASUTH after suffering gunshot wounds to the head, was also in attendance. She alleged that after her brother’s death, the hospital authorities changed the story and said he died of COVID-19.

The Nigerian military has always insisted it never shot live ammunition before the protesters.
