Atlanta-based rapper 6 Dogs reportedly dies at 21

Georgia rapper 6 Dogs, whose music inspired numerous fans in recent years, has died at the age of 21, according to multiple reports and tributes posted Tuesday on social media.

“6 dogs was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of talking to,” Twitter user Gwen Stacy wrote. “One of the only people who never changed when the clout came. he will forever be a part of my life and memories. So down to earth. So encouraging. So based. Rest in paradise.”

His cause of death and the day he died were not immediately clear and his manager could not be reached for this story Tuesday. Several fellow rappers and people who worked with the young artist, whose real name was Chase Amick, confirmed the news and shared photos with him on social media.

“RIP Chase,” rapper Yung Gravy wrote in an Instagram post, adding that Amick “inspired me in so many ways and helped me grow as an artist and a person.”
