American rapper, NBA YoungBoy has reportedly been indicted on two charges related to his September 2020 arrest including possession of a firearm by a felon.

The 21-year-old Louisiana hip-pop star was arrested on Monday, March 22, and kept in FBI custody after fleeing from officials of Los Angeles Police Department who attempted to pull his car over for an outstanding federal warrant.

The Shade Room obtained the unsealed federal indictment documents on Tuesday night, which revealed that YoungBoy is facing two counts together with possession of a firearm by a felon and being in possession of a firearm that isn’t registered to him.

YoungBoy and one of his associates Morrow Battie have to forfeit any firearms and ammunition, according to the charging docs.

The rapper was among 15 others who got locked up back in September 2020 following a video shoot in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Baton Rouge police reportedly received a tip from an unknown caller who reported seeing a number of men brandishing weapons in a vacant lot.

In the course of the investigation, police revealed they made 16 arrests and confiscated 14 weapons (one stolen and two weapons with unlawful shares), and seized $79,000.
