A large party at singer Chris Brown’s Tarzana home was broken up early Thursday morning by LAPD officers.

Police say officers responded to the area at about 2 a.m. following reports of an apparent massive and loud birthday party at the singer’s mansion.

It was not immediately clear how many people attended Brown’s party but about 300-500 cars were parked in the neighborhood, according to LAPD who says officers spoke with the house manager to request the party be shut down.

Everyone was being cooperative, LAPD noted.

Officers stayed on scene to help with the dispersal of guests.

LA City Councilman Bob Blumenfield, who represents the San Fernando Valley, which includes Tarzana, didn’t mention the musician by name in a statement but urged his constituents to be mindful of the pandemic’s ongoing risks.

“As we’ve made so much progress against COVID-19, we still need to do everything possible to get vaccinated, be responsible and make sure that more people don’t get sick,” Blumenfield said in the statement.

“Even before the pandemic, massive house parties like this have been an issue throughout the city, severely disrupting our communities. But the reality is that we’re still in the midst of this pandemic and irresponsible events like this have the power to create more outbreaks and set back the incredible gains made.”
