Tiwa Savage, Nigerian songstress, is set to release a new EP titled ‘Water And Garri’ on August 20.
The R&B star confirmed the release date yesterday after Elsa Majimbo, Kenyan internet comedienne, spoke about the project.
Pharrell Williams, a Grammy-winning US singer, had earlier described Tiwa’s EP as containing potential classics.
“Anybody that doesn’t get that shouldn’t be listening to music. You’re right, it’s not a commercial song, but that’s a classic,” Williams, who is also a renowned producer, had said.
“And be clear that it’s okay to have a classic. That right there, that’s like boat music, that’s like barbeque music, that’s like self-reflection music.”
