Ladipo Eso, Mavin Records rapper better know as Ladipoe, has been nominated for the 2021 BET Hip Hop Award.

Yesterday, BET announced nominees for its 16th annual award ahead of the ceremony billed for October 5.

Ladipoe was nominated in the ‘Best International Flow’ category alongside six other international artistes including Nasty C (South Africa), Xam (Brazil), Laylow (France), Gazo (France), Little Simz (UK), and Dave (UK).

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion led the nominations for this year’s awards with nine nods.

Drake earned eight nominations across seven categories, including the ‘Hip Hop Artist of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’ category.

Connie Orlando, EVP Specials for music programming & music strategy at BET, described the nominated singers as “a representation of the talented individuals who elevate hip hop culture in creative and diverse ways.”
