YouTube has partnered Temple Company, a Lagos-based firm, for its ‘Future Insiders’ programme.

Launched in the US, ‘Future Insiders’ is a four-day virtual course poised to provide an outlet for young adults to learn first-hand skills from successful music artistes, industry experts, and the YouTube music team.

Announcing the program yesterday, the organisers said it will help participants build a career in music and tech.

The organisers also said ‘Future Insiders’ will offer the audience valuable insight, and the chance to learn and engage on various topics ranging from creating an identity in music to the business of rhythm and visual direction.

It is understood that the speakers and panelists for the programme cut across various sectors of music and tech.

Bisola Aiyeola, Nigerian actress and musician, is billed to host the event while Zlatan Ibile, a rapper, and P.Priime, a music producer, are among the panelists.

‘Future Insiders’ is to hold both virtually and live from Ogidi Studios between September 27 and 30.

According to the organisers, applicants must be between 18-25 years with an interest in music and tech careers.
