Manchester united star wins EPL player of the month ahead of Salah

Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for September.

The 36-year-old won the prize ahead of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

Ronaldo scored twice against Newcastle United on his second United debut as they won 4-1 at Old Trafford.

He also found the back of the net against West Ham in a 2-1 victory.

However, Ronaldo was unable to stop United from losing 1-0 at the end of September.

Salah scored in Liverpool’s three Premier League matches last month, equalling Ronaldo’s tally of three.
