Mr. Macaroni has accused the Lagos police of sabotaging the #EndSARS protest anniversary.
The Nigerian comedian was billed to speak at a summit to commemorate the shooting of protesters at the Lekki toll gate last year.
Femi Falana, a rights activist; Usman Alkali Baba, the inspector-general of police (IGP); Shina Peller, a member of the house of representatives; Falz, a rapper; and Aisha Yesufu were also included in the lineup.
But in a sudden twist, Macaroni took to Instagram to reveal that the ‘Soro Soke Summit’ has been sabotaged.
Macaroni accused some celebrities of being complicit in the alleged plot to sabotage the #EndSARS gatherings.
He said many entertainers accept to perform at government events staged to divert attention from the summit.

Taking to his page to reiterate Macaroni’s concerns, Falz vowed that the movement will never be silenced.
“They killed innocent souls that were simply asking not to be killed or brutalized,” the rapper said.
