Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle has released a disclaimer to distance herself from her daughter’s business, Kachi Beauty Products.
The actress’ daughter, Ngozikachi Abimbola Onyeluo, has allegedly scammed several victims with her empowerment scheme in form of a hair importation business by receiving payment from them without delivering the ordered products.
According to a report by Foundation for Investigative Journalism released in March, the business owes customers over 40 million naira, and has refused to effect refunds despite incessant calls and emails by customers.
Most of the victims of the scheme said they had bought into the business after it was endorsed by the proprietor’s mother, Ireti Doyle.
However, Ireti Doyle took to her Instagram page yesterday to state that she has “zero affiliations” with the business, and was only related to the proprietor of the business as her mother.
