He followed up this success with the mixtape Cloud 9 in 2017. He released his third and fourth studio album, Reign and Wonder Boy, in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

Shatta Wale’s Personal Assistant, Nana Dope who confirmed this on Snapchat, asked Ghanaians to keep Shatta Wale in their prayers. He also said that videos of the singer in a pool of blood shouldn’t be circulated on social media.
