Popular South Korean actor Kim Seon Ho will no longer star in some of his upcoming projects, including two films and a variety show, in light of his ongoing controversy in connection with his ex-girlfriend who accused him of forced abortion and gaslighting.

The actor was slated to be a part of KBS2’s popular variety show ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season4’. He was likely to make his debut on the big screen with ‘Sad Tropics’ helmed by director Park Hoon Jung alongside Kim Deok Min’s omnibus project ‘Dog Days’. Actress Go Ara was in talks to share the screenspace with Kim Seon Ho in ‘Sad Tropics’.

Apart from these, he was also confirmed for the lead role of Lee Sang Geun’s romantic-comedy flick ‘2 O’Clock Date’ co-starring Girls Generation’s Yoona.
While KBS2 has confirmed to drop Kim Seon Ho from its permanent cast members, Soompi quoted a source from the ‘2 O’Clock Date’ production team who said, “We have decided to replace the male lead of ‘2 O’Clock Date.’”

On the other hand, Production company JK Film of “Dog Days” added, “It’s a bit burdensome to keep going (with Kim Seon Ho) because it’s the role of a romantic couple. We have spoken with the agency, decided to replace him, and are taking the necessary steps.”

Meanwhile, “Sad Tropics” have not yet made a decision. They stated “Nothing has been decided so far regarding actor Kim Seon Ho. We are discussing the matter.”
