His real name is Oluseye Desmond Sodamola, and he was born on the 2nd of June 1984 in Lagos state. There are no details of who his parents and sibling are.
DJ Spinall is the third child of five children of his parents. He grew up in Lagos and Ogun state. Damola is a Nigerian by birth and celebrated his 37th birthday in June 2021.
DJ Spinall had his primary and secondary school education in Lagos state, after which he moved to the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun state for his tertiary education, where he bagged a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
DJ Spinall has always been a lover of music since childhood. His career as a DJ started in the church, where he was paid 500 naira to anchor an event.
However, professionally, DJ Spinall started his career as a DJ working for a Lagos base radio station Ray Power with the frequency 100.5 FM in 2004.

Over time, he became famous and went on to join the entertainment industry to promote underground talents. Owing to DJ Spinall’s performance, he became the official DJ of Wande Coal while the latter was still signed to the Mavin label.
In 2014, DJ Spinall started his record and management lab known as TheCAP.
DJ Spinall would go on to sign producers to his label anr that same year, he dropped his debut hit single titled “GbaGbe E,” featuring Burna Boy.
Today DJ Spinall has gone on to work with some of the biggest name in the industry like 2baba, Wande Coal, Wizkid, Davido, Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Kizz Daniel, Joeboy, Fireboy DML, among others.
