Nigeria head coach, Gernot Rohr, has said he is yet to agree a payoff with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
There were rumours that the 68-year-old had agreed an N370m severance package to step down.
However, speaking to Punch, Rohr confirmed he is still in charge of the team. “There is no agreement for the moment,” he said.
Rohr also remains hopeful of leading the Eagles to the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
He added: “Hopefully, we will be in charge to lead the team to the AFCON.”
Nigeria have been drawn alongside Egypt, Guinea Bissau and Sudan in Group D.
