Nkechi Blessing narrates how she broke her leg during Wizkid’s live performance
Nkechi Blessing, the Nigerian actress, says she broke her leg during Wizkid’s live performance at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja yesterday.
The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner thrilled fans and music lovers with several of his hit songs at the event organised by Play Network Africa.
According to the actress, while the ‘Essence’ crooner was performing, an ecstatic fan had darted towards the stage and grabbed Wizkid’s leg.
In a video of the incident shared by Blessing, Wizkid could be seen trying to persuade the fan to let go of his leg but the fan held firm onto him.
The film star said this had prompted the intervention of bouncers who stormed the stage and threw the fan into the crowd.
According to her, the fan fell where she was seated at the event venue, causing her injury in the leg.
