Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has slammed Nigerian music executive cum blogger Ubi Franklin for making issues with her over the death of Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College.
Trouble started on Friday when Ubi Franklin called out some celebrities who ignored speaking on the issue because of their relationship and ties with the owner of the school.
Reacting to this, Kate Henshaw, in a video shared on her Instagram page, slammed those calling her out on social media for not speaking on the issue, stating they are all hypocritical.
Kate Henshaw noted she has always been at the frontline speaking for people who have been molested, violated and battered, but her outburst is always taken for granted.
The actress added that she chooses when to speak out and people should not remind her or tag her in some meaningless post.
Responding to this, Ubi Franklin tackled Kate Henshaw, saying he did not need her for anything but was only interested in getting justice for the deceased.
While commending Kate Hanshaw for her always speaking out regarding similar issues in the past, Ubi Franklin said he wasn’t referring to her but close pals to the owner of Dowen College.
However, in a new post shared on her Instagram page, Kate Henshaw blasted Ubi Franklin, stating he does not deserve mention on his page and should sort out his life.
While describing Ubi Franklin as a ‘wannabe’, Kate Henshaw said she does not need his respect for anything or deserve to be on his page.
She wrote: Just look at that wanna be, you think you deserve a mention on my page??? Go sort your life out first mumu. SA to ya were… What do I need your respect for? Put me on your page but you no reach to be on mine…What do I need anything from you for? You reach? Getaaat If I answer you again ehnnn my name is not mine!!! While you are at it, unfollow sharply cos I ain’t even following you.
According findings, Dowen College is owned by parents of female singer, Lami Phillips who until date is Director of Students and External Affairs.
The likes of Tiwa Savage, Omawunmi and others are among female celebrities who have remained mute even as the campaign for justice for young Oromoni continues to gather momentum.
