A Celebration of Life Kankemwa Napar Salako

Kankemwa Napar Salako popularly known as Kanke Salako was the wife of Mobitel boss, Johnson Salako. She passed away to Glory on the 7th of January, 2022 were she was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

Kanke was a gentle and loving lady according to the tribute shared by Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin of House on the rock, Nigeria.

She wrote:

It’s unbelievable to think that I would not hear your voice nor see you again💔

The essence of who you are will never be forgotten.
Your gentle spirit, calm nature, lovely smile, twinkling eyes, warm spirit, serving heart, listening ear, generous soul, gentle yet consistently supportive demeanor will ever be remembered by all that were blessed to have had you been a part of their lives.

You will be fondly missed as the friend, sister, confident, and co-labourer that you were to me.

From the early days in the Woman To Woman Ministry in the 90s till date, you remained committed to the vision to empower others in every sphere. I could call on you with no notice, and you would always avail yourself. It was an absolute joy, privilege and honour to have been your pastor. I’m thankful to the Lord for the gift of having known you.

I will always treasure the memories that we shared, of transiting into motherhood at similar times, the ‘Grange Stories’, our Guinness Book Record for Girls and life conversations.

I take comfort in knowing that you are in a better place at rest, and that we shall see again on that bright beautiful day. 🕊

Adieu my darling Sister Kanke😇🤍. I love you.
May The Lord God Himself comfort your entire family.
Deacon Johnson, you and the children remain firmly in the grip of our prayers. May God’s peace, grace and strength keep you in this season and beyond. 🙏🏼
