Osinbajo mourns famous shoemaker, OJ Best

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has mourned the passing of Ojima Omale, better known as OJ Best.

The 28-year-old famous shoemaker died at the weekend.

Osinbajo said he was deeply saddened by the demise of the “young enterprising shoemaker and friend”.

In a statement on Monday, the VP noted that the deceased was talented, creative and dedicated to his craft.

“I never ceased to be impressed by his exertions for perfection in his products.

“I and many members of my team, for whom he also made shoes, will miss him, his services and unfailing good humour.

“Our thoughts are with his family as we pray that God will comfort them. May his memory remain blessed. Amen.”

Omale will be buried in hometown Ijessi-Igo, Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State on Thursday.
