Owo Attacks: Tinubu donates N75m to victims and St Francis Catholic Church
A presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has promised to donate N75m to both the victims of the last Sunday killings and St Francis Catholic Church, Owo.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu said this when he accompanied Tinubu’ to the Palace of Olowo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye during a condolence visit.
Akeredolu said Tinubu has promised to donate N50million to the victims and another N25million to the Owo Catholic Church.
Tinubu who condemned the attack on innocent worshippers, promised to work with Akeredolu to bring succour to the victims.
Describing the attack as an evil that must be defeated, the former Lagos State governor said “there is no place for such hatred and wanton taking of innocent lives” in our country.
