Ugboajah died on Monday morning, 11th July 2022, after an undisclosed ailment.
The family of the late Ugboajah of the Ariam Usaka Oboro clan in the Ikwuano Local Government Area of the State officially announced his demise on Tuesday in a statement to journalists. In his condolence message issued to newsmen in Umuahi, the Abia state capital, the Action Democratic Party House of Representatives candidate for Abia State’s Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency seat in the 2023 general election, Paul Meregini, expressed sadness over the incident.
He said: “Ugboajah played inclusive and development-oriented politics which endeared his party members and people to him until his demise.
“He was a team player who was only concerned with what will benefit the people and was never sentimental to issues concerning the development of Abia, southeast and Nigeria as a whole.”
