Many People In The North Don’t See Tinubu As A Muslim – Deji Adeyanju
A Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju has revealed why Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress wants to choose a Muslim as his running mate.
Adeyanju, who is a former Head of New Media for the Peoples Democratic Party claimed that the reason is because many people in the North do not see Tinubu as Muslim.
He stated that Tinubu is allegedly “trying to prove to them they can trust him by picking a Muslim Vice President”.
Deji also alleged that this is the real reason Tinubu wants to ignore the accepted norm of balancing a joint ticket with a Christian.
He tweeted;
“Many people in the North don’t see Tinubu as a Muslim. This is why he is trying to prove to them they can trust him by picking him a Muslim VP. And the real reason he wants to ignore the accepted norm of balancing a joint ticket with a Christian.”
