Cross River PDP councillorship aspirant has been caught stealing from boutique along Marian road in Calabar, Cross River State capital.
The shop-lifter who went with his boy was caught on CCTV.
Investigation by newsmen gathered that the fellow with the name Sunny Ejesi is from Utugwang in Obudu Local Government Area in Northern Cross River State. He is also aspiring to be councilor in Utugwang Central Ward under the PDP.
Sources gathered by CrossRiverWatch revealed that Mr. Ejesi is notorious for such nefarious activities and has been arrested several times by the Obudu Division of the Nigeria Police over alleged theft of diesel, collection of money under false pretence and other sundry allegations.
He was captured on CCTV providing cover for an accomplice who accompanied him to a boutique along Marian road in Calabar, shoplifting a cloth material before departing the boutique and driving away in his vehicle that was donated to him recently by a House of Reps aspirant in the last primaries election.
