‘You’ve lost all respect’ — Bella Shmurda hits Naira Marley over Mohbad’s assault claim

Bella Shmurda, the musician, has tackled Naira Marley over the alleged assault on Mohbad, the fast-rising singer, by members of Marlian Records.

Marlian Records is owned by Naira Marley.

On Wednesday, Mohbad had in a barrage of tweets claimed members of Marlian Records assaulted him for requesting a new manager.

He also shared footage of himself, highlighting a number of bloody bruises he sustained while declaring “I am dying inside”.

But reacting in now-deleted tweets, Marley had claimed Mohbad was “high” when making the assault allegation.

“Obviously, he (Mohbad) is not in his right sense. It is obvious he is not in the right state of mind. Because why will I touch Mohbad or allow anyone to touch Mohbad?” he had said.

The incident has continued to trigger a chorus of condemnation on social media.

Weighing into the matter, Shmurda said Marley “has lost all the respect” he once had for him. He also disagreed with Marley’s claim that Mohbad was “high”.

“Nigga lost all the respect. Looking so unsettled. Label boss capping like capri-sun. Is it possible for him to be high each time his bullied and tries to speak up. Huh? Soro spoke werey parlor dog,” he wrote in a now-deleted post.

In another post, the ‘Cash App’ crooner said a record label should be like a family for artistes, not an “enemy”.

Shmurda also claimed the ‘Feel Good’ crooner was “doing very fine without” Marley.

“A label is suppose to be your family not your enemy… The world is watching, that boy was doing very fine without u damn!!!” he added.
