Small Doctor promises Obafemi Martins $1m, asks him to send account number
Nigerian Afrofuji singer, Small Doctor recently had an interesting moneyed conversation with football star, Obafemi Martins.
The ‘Penalty’ crooner put a video-call across to the former Nigerian international and they playfully talked about money exchanging hands.
In a video which surfaced online, Small Doctor greeted Martins on the call after which he asked the 38-year-old footballer to send his bank account details.
It seems the singer wanted to appreciate the former Inter Milan forward with some money, but Martins teased him about not being able to send reasonable amount.
Small Doctor recalled a time they both met at Quilox and Martins took off before they had the chance to chill together.
The award-winning musician said he wanted to spoil the ex-Super Eagles player at the club but didn’t get the opportunity to do so.
When he requested the account number again, Martins teased him by saying that he would only use Small Doctor’s money to eat groundnuts.
Small Doctor was stunned that Martins was underrating him so vowed to send him $1,000,000 (One Million Dollars). But Martins smiled and warned the artiste that he will go broke if he should try such.
