“You’re a big disaster” – D’banj tells a Nigerian idol contestant who came to perform Wizkid’s hit song, Reckless (Video)
A video from the Nigerian Idol Season 8 has surfaced online and by extension get many people talking alone.
However, singer D’banj,Simi, Obi Asika return as judges at the just kickstarted Nigerian Idol Season 8. Note that the season 7 edition was won by Progress Chukwuyem.
However, out of all the contestants, a guy came out to perform Wizkid nostalgic bop dubbed, Reckless.
Note that Reckless is a song off Wizkid album, Made in Lagos (MIL) that was released in 2020 known for shattering records both at the local and international level.
However, the performance of the middle-aged Nigeria idol contestant who came to perform Wizkid’s hit song, Reckless went wrong as he fails to live up to the expectations of the judges.
The contestant left D’banj, Simi and Obi Asika laughing out loud and by extension D’banj wated no time to express himself to the performance in the clip that hits the internet.
D’banj said; “You’re not just a star, you are a big disaster.”
