Taylor Swift breaks from song onstage to yell at security guard in audience

Taylor Swift repeatedly broke away from the song she was singing onstage Saturday to seemingly yell at a security guard in the audience.

The 33-year-old pop star is whirling through her Eras Tour, which is currently in Philadelphia for three shows over Mother’s Day weekend.

In stunning footage that went viral online, Taylor was in the midst of a performance of her hit Bad Blood when she got distracted by the goings-on in the crowd. Watch the video below:

Based on what she was shouting, it appeared as though her outburst was provoked by the way a security guard was treating a female fan.

She pulled away from the lyrics twice to bellow: ‘Hey, stop!’ over the edge of the stage, adding at one point: ‘She wasn’t doing anything!’

The incident sent fans into a tizzy on Twitter, where one exclaimed: ‘I could watch this over and over. Taylor defending fans makes me so happy!!’

Another fan, whose Twitter bio included the phrase: ‘seeing taylor may 12 & 14,’ wrote: ‘security was really strict about keeping aisles clear during the show yesterday so i wouldn’t be surprised if she was yelling at security.’

Still another confessed: ‘i literally got scared when i was witnessing it on a random grainy 144p livestream on tiktok like what was happening.’

‘I would hate to be the security guy that got in trouble with her,’ quipped one wag, to which another Twitter user chimed in: ‘immediately fired for sure.’

Another wrote: ‘someone said she was yelling at a security for being too aggressive with a fan? the “stop, she wasn’t doing anything” makes sense then. if that’s true i think it is SO SWEET of her to be this attentive and defensive over the fans.’

Taylor’s stint in Philadelphia previously hit the headlines Friday night when she brought her rumored boyfriend Matty Healy onstage to open the concert.

Matty, a bad boy English rocker who used to be addicted to heroin, took the mic dressed in a skeleton suit and accompanied himself on the guitar.

At another point in the show, an eagle-eyed fan caught a glimpse of Matty in the crowd and took a brief video that was then posted to Twitter.
