Beautiful bride rocks mother’s 29-years-old wedding dress on her special day (Video)
A Nigerian lady, Zubaida Rahaman, made a beautiful bride in a gorgeous satin ballgown that had guests gushing over with love.
Surprisingly, the sentimental value associated with the Cinderella clothing had a greater influence on its beauty than anything else. The gorgeous bride shared photos and videos of her wedding look in the dress and went on to post a photo of the original design.
She took to her official Instagram page and captioned the video, “Growing up, I always admired my mum’s wedding dress . After I got engaged, my mum told me I could wear her dress. She would always say, “I bought it in Brazil years before I met your Dad or even knew I would get married to him”. I decided to try the dress on, and we all fell in love with it. I actually really looked forward to revamping the dress.”
“The original dress featured a v-neck with puffy sleeves. I altered the bodice and sleeves of the dress, by opting for a turtle neck and a modern mesh lace sleeve, but I retained the dress skirt.”
“Thank you to my tailor @nicholestylish for coming through and helping through the entire process. We didn’t only revamp the dress we also created a dreamy and romantic vibe and I am the most excited that I made this decision.”
