Davido promises $10k gift for honest hotel worker who returned lost $70k
David Adeleke otherwise referred to as Davido among Hip-hop enthusiasts has pledged to give a donation of $10k to an employee of Eko Hotel and Suites, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, who returned lost $70,000 to a customer in Lagos.
Davido made this disclosure in a statement his official Twitter account on Sunday, July 23, 2023.
In a comment on the development, he said, “Find her for me … I donate $10k”
Recall that the lady was said to have found a bag containing hard currency totalling $70K at Eko Hotel and Suites.
Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, after discovering the bag containing the foreign currency, informed hotel management about incident.
The hotel said it has started plans to return the misplaced money to the rightful owner as it dictated by its the establishment’s policy of integrity and transparency.
