“They called me local but she chose me” – Ruby Ojiakor says as she lands huge movie role with Toyin Abraham (Video)

Ruby Ojiakor has shed tears of joy after being selected among thousands to be on her senior colleague, Toyin Abraham’s next movie project.

In a video posted to her Instagram page, Ruby was captured rolling on the floor with tears as she appreciated Toyin for finding her worthy.

She noted how many have mocked her for being too stup!d, local and all, yet, Toyin chose her to be on an international project.

She expressed gratitude to her Maker as well as the filmmaker for the privilege.

“World best” World Best” World Best”. I love you. Thank you for giving me the privilege to be in ur movie. Which happens to be “My First Cinema Movie”.

They said I am too stup!d…
They said I am too local…
They said I don’t fit in at all…
Yet, world best still said, it’s me she wants in her international “Cinema Movie”.

God, who am I? That thou art so mindful.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you “World Best” for this privilege.

Thank you Jesus Christ for everything.

Hello, world”.

Only desperate actresses sleep with producers for roles’ – Ruby Ojiakor calls out colleagues

Recall that some months back, Ruby Ojiakor had opined that only those who are desperate for fame in the movie industry, allow themselves to be used by randy producers to satisfy their sexual urge.

The single mother of one made this known in an interview when she was asked her take on the issue of sexual harassment going on in her industry.

She said: “It is good when an actress is talented and knows what she is doing. Many of the girls that prefer to sleep with filmmakers are not that good at what they do. They are just desperate and want to become overnight stars. If one is not desperate and one keeps praying to God, one will get movie roles, even if one does not sleep with filmmakers. The filmmakers will not have any option in such a case because the person is good. It is important for actresses to always work on themselves. Once they do so, they will always get jobs. I still get calls despite turning down sexual advances from producers.”

Ruby Ojiakor also recalled her ugly encounter with a randy producer who wanted to get down with her for a movie role.
