Chris Evans marries girlfriend Alba Baptista in intimate ceremony
Captain America star Chris Evans has married his girlfriend, actress Alba Baptista, in an intimate ceremony at their home in Massachusetts.
The couple, who have been dating for over a year, were joined by their closest family and friends for the celebration.
A source told People magazine that the wedding was “beautiful and intimate” and that the couple “looked so happy.” The source also said that the guest list included some of Evans’ Marvel co-stars, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner.
Evans, 42, and Baptista, 26, first sparked dating rumors in November 2022 when they were spotted holding hands in Boston. The couple made their relationship Instagram official in January 2023, when Evans shared a video of himself scaring Baptista.
In the video, Evans is seen sneaking up behind Baptista and shouting, causing her to jump in surprise. Evans captioned the video, “A look back at 2022,” along with a series of heart emojis. A source told E! News in January that Evans and Baptista are “very happy together” and that they are “very compatible.” The source added that Evans is “very protective of her” and that he “really enjoys spending time with her.”
Evans is best known for his role as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has also starred in films such as “The Avengers,” “Captain America: Civil War,” and “Avengers: Endgame.”
Baptista is a Portuguese actress who is best known for her role as Keira in the Netflix series “The Witcher.” She has also starred in the films “The Lost Daughter” and “Infinite.”
