Naira Marley went on to explain that DJ Splash was known to him as a DJ, but they had never collaborated at shows or in any official capacity. The title of “DJ” was merely bestowed upon him due to a photograph they had together. Furthermore, Naira Marley emphasized that DJ Splash had already severed ties with Marlian Records before experiencing mental health issues.
Naira Marley stated, “DJ Splash was never officially part of Marlian Music. I recognize him as a DJ, but he has never performed as my DJ at any event. This title was attributed to him solely because of a photo we took together.” He expressed his lack of understanding regarding the origins of DJ Splash’s mental health challenges and reaffirmed that DJ Splash was no longer associated with Marlian Records when these issues surfaced. “Whatever happened to him occurred at a time when he was not at my residence, and I’m baffled by the source of these claims,” he concluded.
