Renowned celebrity chef Michael Chiarello has tragically passed away following a sudden and severe allergic reaction. The former “Food Network” star lost his life on Saturday, October 7, while under medical care at the Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, California.

Gruppo Chiarello, his company, disclosed that the fatal incident was a result of an acute allergic reaction that led to anaphylactic shock. Although it remains unclear whether the allergic reaction was food-related, Chiarello was surrounded by friends and family during his final moments.
