See you soon – Davido responds to Pinnick’s claim of failing to perform after $94k payment
Afrobeat star, Davido, has responded after a former Nigerian Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick has publicly called him out for failing to honor his contract with them.
In a tweet on Saturday, Davido bragged that nobody can stop him from performing anywhere in Nigeria.
He wrote: “NOBODY CAN STOP ME FROM PERFORMING-ANYWHERE IN NIGERIA … WARRI I WILL SEE YOU SOON.”
Pinnick claimed Davido failed to show up at his event which was held on Friday, 6th of October despite paying him an exorbitant amount of money
He claimed that he paid the singer $94,000 and booked a plane with $18000 for him to convey him and his team to the state, yet he didn’t turn up, which is a big blow to the city of Warri.
However, he also hinted at not wanting to reveal all the intricate details of their agreement, leaving the door open to the possibility that there could be undisclosed complexities in the story.
