“The president of the country used my song as his ringtone” Davido reveals (Video)
Afrobeat singer, Davido has bragged about how one of the past presidents of Nigeria was vibing to his song.
TSB News reported earlier that the singer had opened up on the challenges he faced with his father concerning his music career and how he used his power to hinder his progress.
He stated that his father started pulling strings to get him canceled from shows and made show promoters scared to book him.
But now his father is his biggest fan because the president vibes to his music. Davido stated that when one of his songs went number one on the charts, the president vibed to it and even used it as his ringtone.
“So at that time, I had a song that was like, it was like top 20 on the charts in Africa.
But then the next song I made went number one. Like the president of my country was rocking with it. The song was his ringtone”.
