She revealed that after Mohbad complained of discomfort, his friend Ajisegiri Ayobami, also known as DJ Bami, and a nurse left the room to attend to some errands. It was when Wunmi entered the room that she discovered Mohbad on the floor, a sight that immediately sent shivers down her spine.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Wunmi sprang into action. With Mohbad’s car undergoing repairs at the mechanic’s, she urgently sought help from their neighbor. A traffic jam on their way to the hospital only added to the urgency of the situation. Wunmi’s account took a grim turn when the driver touched Mohbad’s hand and found it cold.
Desperation led them to hail a bike to rush Mohbad to the hospital. As they arrived, Wunmi was left anxiously waiting outside, denied access to the ward. A few harrowing moments later, the devastating news arrived: Mohbad had passed away. Wunmi was in disbelief, prompting her to call Mohbad’s cousin, Darosha, to verify the grim news. Darosha took him to another hospital, but, tragically, it was too late.
