The Real Housewives of Lagos: Season 2 concludes with lots of unfinished businesses

The conclusion of the second season of The Real Housewives of Lagos has left a sense of unfinished business. The abrupt ending has sparked curiosity, prompting us to wonder why the show concluded so suddenly.

The Housewives are still at the resort, with some of them displaying behaviour akin to “Primary 2 ladies.” The pool scene is entirely unnecessary, as Iyabo moves to another pool when Faith Morey and Laura arrived, prompting others to follow, attributing it to the previous pool being cold.

The arrival of Dr. Rommel leads to the housewives attempting to resolve issues between him and Faith Morey the next day. Chioma consistently raises issues she thinks people should discuss and address, despite not genuinely caring about those involved, she seems more interested in stirring the pot than genuinely caring for the people involved.

Dr. Rommel presents some of the most significant and unbelievable lies heard since the show began, leaving us anticipating the Reunion and the revelation of evidence against the deceptive doctor.

Faith Morey, the unshakable queen, stands her ground against the onslaught of false accusations, emerging untouched and resilient. The friendship among Faith Morey, Toyin, and Laura stands out as one of the most beautiful aspects of the show, overshadowing the pervasive themes of gossip, backbiting, fighting, and seeking unnecessary drama prevalent among the other housewives.

Tania, on the other hand, should bow out gracefully, as we’ve had enough of the beautiful puppet for one season.

We particularly enjoy the scene though, where Iyabo Ojo did not know what to do with herself when Faith Morey pointed out one of her pieces on Iyabo’s neck. It adds an amusing touch to the overall dynamics.

There seems to be lots of unfinished business between Mariam and Toyin’s friendship, Iyabo Ojo and Laura’s fight, Dr. Rommel’s onslaught of lies. Unresolved issues are many.

In summary, the season has been a rollercoaster of love and hate, friendship and enmity, with women vying for imaginary crowns, forming beautiful friendships, establishing unnecessary cliques, and showcasing luxury, affluence, and class, all wrapped up in layers of drama.

The upcoming reunion promises to dissect the intricacies of the drama and we eagerly await the revelations that may unfold.
