Nigerian comedienne Anita Asuoha professionally known as Warri Pikin has taken to social media to react after being criticized over her slim look in viral video.
TSB reported that Warri Pikin who also doubles as an actress raises mixed reactions after undergoing surgery to lose her excess fat and improve her health as many claimed that she now looks ugly.
Following the buzz surrounding Real Warri Pikin’s noticeable weight loss on social media, the comedian revealed the reasons behind her decision to undergo surgery in a widely circulated video. She provided insights into various aspects of the choice she made.
The media personality disclosed undergoing a gastric sleeve surgery, during which 80% of her stomach was removed to establish a healthier connection with food.
Warri Pikin opened up about her challenges as a plus-sized woman, citing health issues such as sleeplessness, breathlessness, knee pain, and severe headaches.
Responding to critics who labeled her as “ugly” and “old” after her weight loss, the comedian brushed off their comments, emphasizing that her health takes precedence over such opinions.
Comedian Warri Pikin said; “I dey see all una comments, ‘ehn she no look fine again’, that is not important, ‘she looks old, she looks sick’, ehn if that’s your definition of me being healthy, so be it. Everybody needs to be healthy.”
