King Charles’ Funeral Plans Revealed Amid 2-Year Pancreatic Cancer Diagnosis

King Charles III, Britain’s reigning monarch for 18 months, has already laid out his funeral arrangements amid his battle with pancreatic cancer.

Dubbed “Operation Menai Bridge,” the procession echoes Queen Elizabeth II’s ceremonies, known as “Operation London Bridge.” As his illness progresses, insiders reveal to In Touch that Charles’ final resting plans are being prioritized urgently.

“This is a customary practice in British royalty, but in Charles’ case, it’s a matter of urgency,” explains a source, hinting at concerns among courtiers about the severity of Charles’ cancer.

“Operation Menai Bridge” will follow established protocols. Upon the monarch’s passing, Charles’ body will be transferred from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall, where he will lie in state before his official funeral nine days later. The anticipated location for his burial is the royal vault at Windsor Castle.

“It will be a dignified ceremony fitting for a British monarch,” the source adds.

Recent updates coincide with revelations from a senior royal source to In Touch, suggesting that Charles not only battles pancreatic cancer but has a limited life expectancy of two years.

King Charles is much more unwell than officially stated, struggling to manage his family dynamics, the crown’s affairs, and royal duties,” discloses a member of the royal inner circle. “His health is deteriorating rapidly, and the situation is dire.”

Observers have noted Charles’ absence from the royal agenda, with Princess Anne assuming many of his duties. Prince William, the heir, is also notably absent due to Princess Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Yet, there may be deeper tensions between Charles and William beyond health crises, with Charles reportedly uncertain about William’s readiness for the throne.

“Charles is wary of the pressures of monarchy and doubts William’s preparedness to succeed him,” another insider reveals, citing ongoing public relations challenges faced by William. “It’s a delicate situation with potential repercussions.”
