The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has welcomed a set of twins with his third wife Olori Tobi Philips-Ogunwusi.
The first-class monarch shared the news on his social media pages on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
According to the Ooni of Ife, Queen Tobi gave birth to twins on Saturday, March 16, 2024. He also revealed that she welcomed a prince and a princess.
The Ooni went on to give an update on the well-being of the new mother and their children.
According to him, they are all doing fine. In his words: “To God be the glory, great things he has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Tobiloba, who today birthed a Prince and Princess to the Royal throne of Oduduwa. Mother and children are doing well to the glory of God Almighty.”
The birth of a new set of twins makes the children of Ooni five. Princess Adeola Adeyeye Ogunwusi; Prince Tadenikawo; and Princess Adebukunmi Adeife are the three other children had with different wives.
Meanwhile, newborn twins was met with celebration on social media. Many netizens took to the king’s comment section to share their congratulatory messages.
