The internet is going wild over the mugshot of popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye better known as Bobrisky.
TSB NEWS reported that The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC had arrested the crossdresser at Pinnock Estate, in Lagos State on April 3, 2024, at 3 pm.
Confirming his arrest, a spokesperson for the commission identified as Dele Oyewale exclusively revealed the cause of his arrest. He claimed that the crossdresser was arrested for currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira. He disclosed that the internet sensation is in their facility in Lagos and would be charged to court soon.
Now the commission has released his mugshot, with a post shedding more light on his arrest. In a statement on its official Instagram page, EFCC revealed that the commission has arrested Bobrisky after a video of him spraying and flaunting wads of new Naira notes at the premiere of Eniola Ajao’s movie, Ajanaku surfaced online.
Investigation into it further revealed that he had also committed the alleged offense at some other recent centers and parties at different times.
According to EFCC, Bobrisky arrived at the Lagos Zonal Command on the morning of Wednesday, April 4th for interrogation and volunteered his statements.

The EFCC had invited the 31-year-old following a video report of spraying and flaunting wads of new Naira notes at the premiere of a movie, Ajakaju, produced by Eniola Ajao, a Nollywood actress and producer, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.
Investigation also revealed that he had also committed the alleged offense at some other event centers and parties at different times.
Following the invitation by the Commission, he arrived at the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC on the morning of Wednesday, April 4, 2024, for interrogation and volunteered his statements.
He will soon be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations”.
