A Twitter user, identified as Papi Jnr has made a strong allegation against Jennifer Awele, the wife of the late actor, Junior Pope.
In a now-deleted tweet, he claimed that the event planner had frustrated the life of the actor. According to him, the couple’s marriage has been on a rock before the news of his death.
He alleged that his wife was sleeping with rich men all over Lagos and had left the actor frustrated.
“So apparently Jnr Pope and his wife are not together cos she was sleeping with rich men all over Lagos. So they said she frustrated his life”.
His tweet coincides with his colleague and friend, Dave Ogbeni’s revelation that all wasn’t well with the actor.
Dave had shared his last encounter with Junior Pope, allegedly that the actor had cried out to him that he was dying slowly and wanted to share his story with bloggers, but he convinced him not to.
The light-skinned actor promised to speak out in the future.
Many found the news unbelievable as they noted how family-oriented Junior Pope and his wife were. In July 2023, they celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary with a loved-up photo and sweet words.
Junior Pope admitted that their journey hasn’t been easy, but they trudge on trusting God to guide their every step.
In January 2023 the actor made an interesting revelation on how he met his wife, Jennifer Awele. He disclosed that he met his wife on Facebook.
Speaking on how he helps curb his wife’s ego, the actor noted how some women want to take the position of the head of the home, and to prevent his wife from following in such footsteps, he massages her ego and makes her understand that her position is to be the neck of the family and carry her along with his life’s decisions.
