There’s nothing wrong with being attracted to someone younger than you are. Sometimes, age does not signify maturity. Besides, some women are attracted to the fun and carefree nature of some of these guys.
However, there are a few things you must keep in mind when dating a younger man.
Commitment limitations
If you’re looking to settle down soon, you must consider that dating a younger man may not help you achieve this goal. This is not to say younger men automatically don’t want marriage but this is the case most of the time. So, to avoid pressuring your guy into something he’s not ready for or facing disappoint when it doesn’t work out, make your choice wisely.

You may have to take the reins
Yes, age does not signify maturity but sometimes, younger men, especially in their early 20’s may be a little immature in some areas. This means you may have to get comfortable with putting your foot down and being in control. You may be the one planning dates, initiating conversations and making most decisions. This is not always a bad thing, though, if this is an area where you shine.
The age thing will pop up
When dating a younger man, don’t assume the difference in age is something you should just pretend isn’t there. It will always pop up. From friends/family pointing it out sometimes, to realizing that it can affect your relationship dynamic, it’s always there. So, be prepared to acknowledge it and deal with whatever comes up along the way.
