A plus-size model has told how she’s been subjected to death threats and suicide taunts from “fat activists” who are furious after she dropped a stunning 240lbs.Rosie Mercado, a mother-of-three from Las Vegas, used to be a size 34 but is now a size 12 to 14.
The 36-year-old has received sick abuse as a result however.She told TMZ: “I got hate mail – not so much from the other models, just fans that hated on me.”They told me to go jump off a bridge and kill myself for losing weight.
She said: “Because I guess everybody loves to be happy in their own weight. Some people love being overweight, some people don’t.
