Mel B emerged for the first since since obtaining a restraining order against estranged husband Stephen Belafonte on Wednesday morning. The former Spice Girl, 41, looked glamorous in a sleeveless brown midi-dress and peep toe boots as she made her way inside, her eyes shielded behind a pair of heavily tinted sunglasses.
Mel B was seen arriving at the Hollywood Hills property she once shared with film producer Belafonte, whose horrific catalogue of alleged abuse has been revealed in new court documents.
Despite the acrimonious nature of her separation from Belafonte and subsequent allegations about his volatile behavior Mel appeared to be in good spirits as she chatted with a friend.
The singer later paid a visit to her lawyer’s office in Beverly Hills, where she was seen removing her glasses before making her way inside. Emerging some time later, she was accompanied by a male acquaintance who assisted the singer with her belongings as she made her way back to her car.
Her appearance comes following claims she would be ‘hounded and cajoled’ into threesomes with Belafonte, 41, at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy mansion prior to their abrupt separation. TMZ report she would be harassed into visiting Hefner’s Holmby Hills home ‘for hours on end’ by Belafonte until she finally relented.
Sources allege Mel would often express reluctance to visit the sprawling property, shared by the publishing magnate with a select group of his Playboy Bunnies. But once there she would be ‘plied with alcohol’ by her husband, who allegedly urged her to engage in threesomes.
