Beyonce had a surprise for her dance captain Ashley Everett during her Formation World Tour in St. Louis on Saturday. After performing her hit Single Ladies the songstress handed the microphone over to one of her back-up dancers John Silver. John, clad in a black and white suit, strolled over to his girlfriend and popped the question to roars of cheering from the packed venue. Watch the video clip after the break
The songstress had the audience in giggles at one point as she approached the couple to congratulate them before realising it was a little soon and started to sheepishly back away.
Everett, 27, was one of two dancers in Beyonce’s video for 2008 hit Single Ladies. She has also danced for the likes of Robin Thicke, Ciara, La Toya Jackson and Jennifer Lopez. Meanwhile, Beyonce celebrated her 35th birthday last week.
