Mo Abudu, the Nigerian media mogul, has shared the first photos from the production of ‘Death and the King’s Horseman’, her much-awaited film.

The 57-year-old took to her Instagram page to put out images of the cast from a masque ball scene shot in Lagos.

The project — a movie adaptation of Wole Soyinka’s 1975 play with the same title — is inspired by Abudu’s EbonyLife Studios in collaboration with Netflix.

In the post, Abudu recounted the difficulty her team faced in getting an appropriate location for the scene.
