A video is making the rounds on social media where popular Nollywood actress, Toni Tones pranks her mum that she is applying for $500k (N233M) actor grant and by extension generated several reactions among netizens.
In the funny recorded video, Toni Tones who is well known for her role as young ‘Eniola Salami’ in the award-winning movie ‘King of Boys’ put up her acting skills as she makes her mum thinks she is applying for $500k.
In the prank video, Toni Tones sit next to her mother and falsely started narrating the ordeal her mother went through while raising her alongside her siblings.
According to Toni Tones in the video, her mother gives birth to five (5) children and she is the last child out of the five.
Speaking further, Toni Tones said her mother went through a lot in making sure she raised all of them properly and instill proper values in their lives.
The actress said her mother did a lot of things to make ends meet. she said her mother used to hawk food on the street and also did a lot of crime works for them to survive.
At this moment, the mother started feeling uncomfortable showing an expression that it doesn’t sit well with her but Toni Tones tried to calm her saying that it is $500k grant.
Toni Tones utters that as a single mother (even though she is not single) her mother joined armed robbery gang and did a lot of illegal things.
Captioning the video, Toni Tones wrote; “Pranking my Mum‼️‼️ 😂😂😂 She thinks I’m making a video application for a $500,000 actor’s grant 😂😂😂 It’s the bombastic side eye she gave my cleavage for me 😂😂😅
