Wizkid consoled his son at his mother’s funeral (Video)

A heartbreaking video of music star, Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid consoling his first son, Boluwatife at his mother’s funeral surfaced online.

It is no longer news that the award-winning singer has lost his beloved mother, who died in August, and to mark her exit from the world, her family is burying her in grand style.

Last night, a Wake-Keep and night of tribute was held in her honor which had all her kids and grandchildren present.

In a video making rounds, Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife was seen breaking into tears as his mother, Sola Ogudugu consoled him from behind.

Wizkid, who was sitting front roll, stood up from his seat to console his grieving son.

See reactions below:

One Oluwatosin wrote, “He wasn’t comfortable seeing him cry. He had to stand up to meet him

One Queeneth wrote, “He did this after crying and controlling himself but people will be saying nonsense or he’s supposed to be taking pictures or carrying the boy on his head through

One Independent Essy wrote, ” Where are the people who were saying he doesn’t show his first son love? Nonsense people

One Glory City Gurl wrote, “It doesn’t look like he is connected to his dad that he seems more of a grandma boy

One Dairy Of A Kitchen Lover wrote, “Social media narrative will forever remain wild! I can’t even deal!

One Mandy Chuks wrote, “Now tell me blood isn’t thicker than water??? No matter what!!!”.

Earlier Wizkid had caused a stir online with his awkward interaction with his first son, Boluwatife.

The father of four had run into his first son, who he shares with his ex-partner, Boluwatife Balogun at his mother’s funeral and the two had an awkward exchange.

In a video that made rounds, Bolu was seen standing a mile apart from his father, who was surrounded by security. The young teen looked scared of approaching him until Wizkid called for his attention. The two had a brief exchange as Wizkid hugged him before they parted ways.

The video had left many talking with many dragging the singer for being a deadbeat father.

The singer has four sons; his eldest Boluwatife with Sola Ogudugu, Ayo jnr Balogun with Binta Diamond and Zion Balogun, and AJ with his international manager.

His second son with US baby mama, Binta has been thrown into oblivion as there are no pictures and talks about him.
