A mother of three kids is set to end her marriage after finding out that her husband has been eating their children’s placenta.
The news was disclosed on Tiktok with handle, @itzz__joygray, who claimed to be a neighbor to the married woman.
According to Joy Gray, the woman, who had just gave birth to her third child, discovered her husband had been eating their placenta after things started going wrong in their home.
Her husband’s secret leaked out after he was sent out of the hospital to go get some drugs from the pharmacy after his wife delivered the third child.
Usually, the husband makes sure the organ was reserved for him to take home but since he was absent, the hospital disposed of it.
As soon as he realized the placenta was gone, he caused a scene in the hospital but it was already too late and they had disposed it.
Soon after they were discharged from the hospital, everything in their home started going sideways.
That was when the husband confessed that it was because he didn’t eat the placenta of the last child as per tradition in his hometown.
The revelation instilled fear in the woman as she packed her belongings and moved out of her husband’s house.
It’s worth noting that placenta is an organ that develops in the mother’s womb during pregnancy. This structure provides oxygen and nutrients to a growing baby. It also removes waste products from the baby’s blood. Babies are mostly delivered with the placenta.
